Dr. Philip Wolff
My name is Dr. Philip Wolff, and I have been a practicing dentist in Marina since 1990. As a general dentist, my early years were focused on providing patients with dental treatment that would look good, feel good, and last a long time. While that will always be my ultimate goal with dental treatment, there has been an evolution that allows me to focus not only on oral health but also on how I can improve overall systemic health. My many years of continuing education have had an emphasis on whole-body health, including headaches, facial pain, diabetes, TMD, and sleep-breathing disorders. While my dental team and I can create your beautiful smile, we would also like to improve your quality of life and longevity so that you can enjoy that smile for many years to come.
I have lived in Monterey County since the age of 8, growing up in Toro Park, graduating from Robert Louis Stevenson High School, and then leaving the central coast to attend college. After graduating from UC Berkeley, dental school followed at UCLA and culminated in a DDS degree in 1990. Returning to the central coast, I had the privilege of practicing with my father for 5 years in Marina and have been there ever since. My passion for continual education in order to provide the best care possible for my patients led to many courses, including Spear Education, Invisalign, BioResearch, and Myotronics, as well as mini-residencies, including UCLA’s Dental Sleep Medicine and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain’s mini-residency to name a few. My passion for learning also translated into teaching, which led me to become a Supervising Dentist in the Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene program in 2018.
When not in the office, you may find me sailing on the bay, climbing up or skiing down a mountain, biking, wine-tasting, traveling, or just out enjoying a meal at some of the tasty restaurants in northern California.
Dr. Sydney Washington
Hi, my name is Dr. Sydney Washington. I am originally from Iowa and earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.
Growing up, I always enjoyed going to the dentist and having positive experiences as a patient. Those experiences inspired me to pursue a career in dentistry so I could help others feel the same comfort and confidence in their dental care.
I am passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles and enjoy seeing their smiles transform throughout treatment. I am committed to creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel at ease in the dental chair. I believe positive dental experiences are built on trust, compassion, and personalized care, and I strive to make every visit as pleasant and stress-free as possible.
As a newcomer to the Monterey Peninsula, I am excited to become part of the community, meet new patients, and build lasting relationships with the individuals and families I have the privilege of caring for.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with friends and taking in the beauty of living near the ocean. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile!
Elizabeth
My name is Elizabeth, but I go by Lizzy. I graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Monterey Peninsula College in 2020 and now work as a Registered Dental Assistant. My favorite part about my job is being able to connect with patients to achieve their smile goals. As a team, patient care is our top priority, so I strive to make patients feel as comfortable as possible in the chair.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and adorable cat.
Senetra
My name is Senetra. A question many wonder about is how I pronounce my name. Similar to the singer Frank Si-na-tra only it’s Si-KNEE-tra. I’ve been a hygienist since 2004 and have worked here since day 1 of my career. I’ve had the joy of seeing patients reach many milestones in life: grow up, get married, start a family, retire, and become grandparents. One of the greatest compliments I’ve received is when a patient told me I clean their teeth like I’m restoring fine art, such as attention to detail. I hope to create positive dental experiences for you and your family.
Kim
Kim started her dental career back in 1984 as a Registered Dental Assistant, giving her a deep, hands-on understanding of dental care. In 2007, she brought her wealth of experience to our front office as our Administrative Assistant, and she has been a beloved part of our practice family ever since!
Kim is truly passionate about getting to know each patient personally. She treats everyone like family, making sure you receive top-quality service, gentle care, and the most comfortable dental visit possible. She has been referred to as the "Dental Whisperer" by some of our patients.
When she isn't helping patients at the office, she is surrounded by her own big, beautiful family. She loves spending every spare moment with her husband, Jack, their five amazing kids and their families.
Sofia
Hi, my name is Sofia, and I am a graduate of Cabrillo College. I originally went into teaching; however, the Dental Hygiene Healthcare career was calling my name. I love my job, not only educating my patients on their oral health but making them comfortable and at ease. In my spare time, I like to work in my garden by planting and harvesting fruits and vegetables.
Kristie
Kristie is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Periodontal Therapist who has been helping patients achieve healthy smiles since graduating from San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia, CA, in 2004. She is deeply passionate about providing comprehensive, overall care for each patient. Kristie takes great pride in ensuring that every person who sits in her chair feels completely comfortable, safe, and relaxed during their appointment.
A longtime resident of Prunedale, CA, Kristie lives with her husband and their three beloved dogs, whom she proudly considers her children.
Outside the office, Kristie loves to stay busy. On the weekends, you can usually find her walking her dogs or enjoying plenty of sunshine and swimming out at Lake Nacimiento.
Juana
Juana’s passion for dentistry began in 1998 when she started her career as a dental assistant. Her dedication to clinical excellence led her to become a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in 2003. Driven by a deep love for the field, she advanced her education at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, earning her Registered Dental Assistant in Expanded Functions (RDAEF2) license. This advanced credential allows Juana to place fillings and perform specialized dental procedures independently.
For Juana, the heart of her work is the relationships she builds with her patients. She is deeply committed to delivering a comfortable, pleasant, and stress-free experience so every patient feels right at home in our chair.
Outside the office, Juana is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters and a handsome son. She cherishes every moment spent making memories with her family.
Carrie
My name is Carrie, it is a pleasure to meet you! I have been in the dental field for over 30 years, wearing many hats throughout my career and enjoying every roll along the way. One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is building relationships with our patients and helping them achieve their optimum dental health.
Our outstanding team of professionals inspire me every day to be the best I can be, and I truly enjoy collaborating side by side with such a dedicated group.
Outside of the office, I enjoy playing pickleball, baking, canning, reading and taking walks with my sweet Beagle mix, “Charlie”.
